10 Best Cafes in Canggu

The cafe game in Canggu is STRONG. This was hard for us to put together without stopping every 5 minutes to eat a snack. We only got through it because of all the coffees we were inspired to drink. So here we go, some of our favourite cafes in Canggu and Canggu alone.

1. BGS

More than just a cafe, BGS has become a community, especially for surfers and skaters. Here not only you can enjoy their delicious coffee with their homemade almond milk but also shop a little. Coffee and shopping, yes and yes.

2. Copenhagen

Are you one of those people who changes the menu when you order? We don’t blame you, if you know what you like then go for it. Copenhagen is the place for you and their ordering system is you basically choosing what you want on your plate. Make your own breakfast.

3. Crate

You’re gonna want to order everything on the menu. They all look so pretty and instagrammable, AND also really delicious!!! The best part about it is, that they’re super affordable so you CAN actually order everything.

4. Monsieur Spoon

If you’ve been to Bali before or know anything about it, you know Monsieur Spoon is a thing. They’ve been around for years and for a solid reason. Their pastries and cakes especially, oh la la, make us go ‘oui oui monsieur’.

5. Motion Cafe

Just because you’re watching your calories that doesn’t mean you have to suffer. Head down to Motion cafe, which focuses on health and fitness food. You know what they say, abs are made in the kitchen. Motion’s kitchen.

6. Revolver

Yes, it’s that Revolver that started in that tiny spot in Seminyak. You know they know what they’re doing when it’s now an empire. Whatever they do, it’s good.

7. Rise and Shine

Good coffee, good food, good vibes. Three checks for them. They may only have been around for not too long but they have made it to people’s hearts (and stomachs) to be one of the main brunch places here in Canggu. 

8. The Common

It gets really hot during the day, you walk past this place, you walk in, and it’s cool inside! So now you’re inside, you get great service, and you order anything… everything is delicious. So it’s a no-brainer really. 

9. Zin Cafe

Bali is digital nomad heaven and this spot is one of the reasons why. Great co-working spot that’s super chill with good food and drinks, good price and a cute venue - it just has everything. Zoom zoom to Zin for your next Zoom call. 

10. Machinery Cafe

Yes, bougie and contemporary dishes are cool, but have you ever missed a good ol’ classic eggs benny? Or a big brekky like your mum used to make? This is the place for it. Classic dishes, done well!
